Paul Field - Song Writer / Producer

Paul Field has been a Professional Composer, Songwriter, Singer & Record Producer for almost 30 years. He has won an Ivor Novello award from The British Academy of Songwriters, a Dove award (and 2 Nominations) from GMA Nashville and several awards from ASCAP in America.

He has written and produced songs on many Gold & Platinum records for artists around the world. Cliff Richard, Avalon, Wynnona, Rebecca St. James, Jennifer Knapp, Point of Grace, Phil Keaggy, Elkie Brooks, Tammy Wynette, Jaqui Velasquez, Natalie Grant and Michael English are among those who have had hits with Paul's songs. He's also written several Musicals, Children's songs and music for Theatre, Television and Advertising.

Alongside his work on songs and productions for other artists and a wide range of other projects Paul continues to perform and record in his own right as a solo artist.

Rites of Passage - The significant and transitional moments of life, sometimes joyful and sometimes painful can often be difficult to talk about and express and sometimes even harder to come to terms with. We hope this collection of words & music might be relevant, comforting, challenging and inspirational for the realities of life’s journey.

I'm really excited about this new project, written and produced together with Dan Wheeler. It's got a very acoustic feel with a bit of country flavour here and there. We're really pleased with the songs and the way it sounds. It's got a few songs which we hope will be used and sung as well as listened to and It also includes a couple of poems/prayers (read by Graham Kendrick). We'll be looking to tour it through the year.
